Privacy Policy

We collect as little as possible, use it only to cook for you, and never pass it on. Here it is in full.

Who we are

Nest Catering ("we", "us") is a bespoke catering company. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nestcatering.co.uk, why we collect it, and how we look after it. If you have any questions, write to us at info@nestcatering.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the details of your event — the date, occasion, guest numbers, location, and anything you tell us in your message.

Why we collect it

We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to plan and deliver your event. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you sent us, and the performance of any contract that follows. We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell or share them for advertising.

Who handles your data

Your enquiry is delivered to us by Resend (our email provider) and the site is hosted by Vercel. Both act as data processors on our behalf. Our site analytics are cookieless and anonymous — we see page-level statistics, never personal profiles.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept any. The analytics we use (Vercel Analytics) work without cookies and do not identify individual visitors.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any event that follows, plus a reasonable period for our records. If you would like your details removed sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@nestcatering.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you feel we have mishandled your data.
